Today, I’m Thankful for My Business Brokerage

Thanksgiving falls on Thursday and everyone is busy getting their last-minute groceries together for the big meal. Part of many family traditions is going around the table to say what you’re thankful for, and thanks to the hard work of my team, I have a lot to be thankful for this year.

But, beyond the decadent turkeys, mounds of mashed potatoes, and savory smell of stuffing, many people will be thinking about work in the back of their minds. First and foremost – me.

As a business broker, it’s my job to think about how to make deals close and do right by my clients. Over the years, I’ve learned many different strategies to smooth out the sale process.

I’ve spent many a holiday meal mulling over options and handling emergency situations. And, even though it’s stressful sometimes, I’m always thankful to have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.

I Get to Help Others Invest in a Brighter Future

So many of my friends and family members go into work every day just to make ends meet. But, as a business broker, I get to work with entrepreneurs who are willing to put in the extra effort to create a new vision. I’m there to help people stop being complacent.

I work with sellers who are confident in their business’ ability to create a return on a buyer’s investment. Nothing makes me more proud than seeing one of the business transactions I’ve brokered work out for the better for both parties.

I Steer Buyers Away from Bad Options

If you’ve been working for someone else your entire life, owning your own business can feel like the most freeing experience. But, if you choose to invest in the wrong business, you may feel more trapped than anything.

As a business broker, it’s my job to steer people away from investing in the wrong business. I have the experience and training necessary to know when someone has a decent shot at making things work, and when they’re chasing a pipe dream.

I’ve made it my mission to help buyers avoid lemons even if it means scrapping a sale late in the game. Buying a business may be the biggest financial decision you ever make and I value being able to add insight to that process.

I Help Potential Owners Secure Financing

Not only do I help buyers and sellers find each other, but I also often play a starring role in the negotiation process. I can help work out a deal so that a seller can continue to invest in their own company (seller financing) or walk a new buyer through the process of securing a loan.

Being able to help deserving buyers achieve their goal is one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of my job.

Then, give me a call. I would be thankful for the opportunity to help you achieve your dream.
