
Raised in Anaheim, CA, Dolan has over thirty years of experience in the mid-market business brokerage segment, as well as mergers and acquisitions--his specialty being manufacturing, franchising and the graphics trade. In addition to brokering the sales of existing franchises, Dolan has held several executive officer positions in which he managed operations and franchisee-level marketing. For eight years, he also owned a Sir Speedy franchise - developing it from a startup into one of the country’s top-grossing locations at the time.
Dolan’s executive career experience includes:
- Establishing suggested asking prices for the businesses
- Prospecting and securing mid-market acquisitions for franchise growth
- Was intermediary between Buyers and Sellers during the negotiation process
- Strategic marketing
- Prospecting buyers
- Working with legal and accounting professionals on a Term Sheet or Letters of Intent as well as Purchase Agreements
- Real estate site research/prospecting, transactional brokerage & lease negotiation for mid-market size acquisitions
- Procuring long-term, third-party financing arrangement (conventional & SBA loans)
- Franchise-related, transactional document preparation
- Insuring compliance with Federal Trade Commission franchising laws and regulations
- Assisting franchise owners with financial, marketing & operation analysis (to help maximize cash flow and increase sales)
He has lived and been active in business markets across the U.S., including those in New York/New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Georgia, the Carolinas, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, California, Arizona and Nevada. Dolan and his wife, Kathy, have been married 31 years & have two grown children. He enjoys gardening, along with the sun and water activities of Florida and the Caribbean.
